Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Instead of getting the status only when asked by the server, the client should be monitoring the status internally, and return the current internal status when asked by the server.
